alright mr. youtube drift professor. drifting has no luck involved. everything that happens is a result of iether a split-second calculation or the lack thereof. if the slide is successfull, then so was the calculation. its about the art of control and estimation i have been racing since i could grasp a steering wheel i am much better than this hack(and very likely you, too) i plan to prove it by posting vids of me raping random country backroads in a 600hp 92' talon. lets see your chops!

see not only does he not know the corner that well, hes having it briefly described to him by the co driver as i say ive seen a 180 drift of a subaru that was fucking good but he lost loads of time by the effect of "understeering" the car sideways and going very close to the barriers almost crashing whereas this guy is in the middle of the road almost no body roll and no corrections. LUCK

erm that drift was lucky rather than skill you can get close doing that but also have to make corrections, that was incredible and very well executed that is rally porn. it couldnt be judged that well but on that occasion it was obviously timed to perfection.

yeah at night it has to do with the frequency of the rotation of the wheel compared to the frequency of the flicker in the street lights 50~60Hz. in the day it has to do with the frequency that the camera takes an image (frame rate)

I think your eyes are being tricked. AT certain speeds any spoked wheel will start to look as though it is spinning in reverse. Watch cars on the freeway. I think what you see is a handbrake-locked rear wheel that once he releases it begins spinning up rapidly and for a moment give the optical illusion of reverse rotation just as any car accelerating down the freeway would momentarily do.

simsil 1 is an idiot. how can you say that slide is easy and any car can do it? the driver did that at the spur of the moment, probably just after his navigator read the notes. ari vatenen is an amzing driver.

no thats call unctroled oversteer^^ powersliding is basicly drifting with 4wd cars and controling the slide with throttle and brake. check any definition on internet or play rbr and see powersliding school

not really, drifting isent restricted to FR cars, you can drift in any type of car, a power slide is losing the rear end than quickly reganing it, that was alot more than that, it was a control slide, which is exactly what drifting is.
