@6stringedkiller Nothing. In most of racing sports isnt pay. (except F1..etc) They do this in free time.

Why don't we see great machines like this don't race in the WRC? I know its now 4wd but why not make a special RWD WRC class? That would jump up and down the current format of WRC i think ^^

Great! Thats why Porsche is such a great sports car. You just don't see any other super car do that. A Ferrari, Lambo etc. and especially Vette and Viper would break into pieces...

@armeyn Don't really know where you're coming from....I have attended many motorsport events including classic rallies and the WRC and these are without doubt some of the best amateur drivers I have ever seen. I saw the orange Prorallye car at The Rally Show this year and I can tell you that Olaf Dobberkau is a genuine hero driver...GT3 on gravel? incredible!! Also consider that all of the cars in this video look factory fresh, whereas WRC cars all look distinctly second-hand after SS-1.

@abernoodles I think most of these racers are horrible drivers. It's a pain for me to see that most of them can't handle the power of the GT3, especially in corners. They shouldn't drive a car that they can't control 99%. Awesome cars, sound and video, but drivers seem to be amateurs. I go back to watching WRC, with skilled drivers.

WHY, WHYYY doesn't all Porches sound like that orange/red one?!?!?

i think a full spec WRC of any make would destroy these porsches. WRCs are built like tanks, with $100Ks into the AWD system alone. not to mention driven by arguably the best drivers in the world, taking in consideration car control, car placement, and road condition knowledge.

They looked pretty damn quick to me, even on gravel. I imagine the engine location helps a lot with traction, weight over driven wheels, but of course it won't be the same as AWD

@CaptainLibertarian I think they can be faster or as fast as them in tarmac, but in gravel or in wet tarmac the 4WD of the WRC would give them the upper hand
